Joyful Yuletide

Merry Christmas everyone! Hope everyone had an awesome Christmas eve:) I got a few photos that'll tell tell how we celebrated Christmas. Late afternoon on December 24, I attended the Christmas Eve service with my friend, Clarissa. I was so excited to hear Pastor Paolo's Christmas preaching since it's my first time to attend a Christian Christmas service. 'Though I've been attending Victory for over a year now, t'was only this year that I attended their Christmas Eve service. So there it was, the message was great and timely. It mainly centered on what's the true meaning of Christmas~the birth of our Saviour, Jesus Christ. We bumped into an old friend, Andrea whom we seldom see since she resides in Baguio now. Lovely encounter w/ her. Reminisced grade school mem'ries and talked a bit 'bout random stuffs. I got home around 9pm, everybody's preparing the food already. At 10 pm, my mother, Auntie and cousins went to church to hear the mass, I was left with my elder brother who's playing really yucky old songs. Well I can bear it naman, sanay na ako sa kanya hehe. At exactly 12 midnight, we ate together our Noche Buena, nothing beats that moment. Sitting on the the table with your whole family together, I'm really blessed. And I also gave my gifts to my really cute "pamangkins"  and they liked it:) Seeing the smiles on their faces was really priceless. We also did our exhange gift thingy after eating, I got Kuya Den as my Monito and he wanted a pair of Jersey shorsts and I gave it to him. Ate Lea's the one who got my name and I wished for a new compact foundation and hankies and she gave granted my wish:) At the height of our celebration, my cousin Ate Lhy went into our house and said that she has to bring baby Josh(her cute baby) to the hospital 'coz he's been crying and she suspects that something serious is behind his endless crying. I accompanied Ate Lhy and rushed baby Josh to the hospital. We stayed there for almost 4 hours and went home around 5am. My brothers' awake and still drinking and the elders(mama, lola and lolo) were up already or maybe they didn't sleep at all. 'Though an unexpected thing happened, we still had a Merry Christmas!

"The best of all gifts around any Christmas tree: the presence of a happy family all wrapped up in each other." - Burton Hillis

Happy Birthday, Jesus! You're the reason for this season

"But when the time had fully come, God sent his Son, born of a woman, born under law, to redeem those under law, that we might receive the full rights of sons. Because you are sons, God sent the Spirit of his Son into our hearts,  the Spirit who calls out, "Abba, Father.""

Galatians 4:4-6 (NIV)
