Sweet Escape ♡

irl freThe past days had been so crucial to me. Been burdened with lots of problems, big revelations, misunderstadings and family issues and these things are to be blamed for my "kawawa"-ugly look for the past few days. These crazy things made me feel miserable. And I felt a need of someone to talk to, to tell all my rants to, someone who'll listen to me as I vent out all the clouds of miserable-ness. (i know there's no word such as that but let's just leave it that way). And I know only one person can help and understand me with all these craziness goin' on with my life, and that person is Mirahdal. I love her to bits  And because I felt that I'm on the verge of being crazy I had to set a date for us to talk. Like seriously talk about stuffs that are bugging me. And the place we chose  where to meet-up is none other than the very cute and laid-back coffee shop along Taft Avenue ~ Cafe Noriter:) ♡ Noriter is one of the most popular cafes around Taft, mainly because of its relaxing atmosphere and with all the cute doodles and lovely decorations around the cafe. It's like an escape from the hustle and bustle of Taft Avenue. Can't help but to take photos of the really cute interior they have.  'Though most of the walls were already vandalized with ugly and senseless writings and drawings I still find this place cute:)

I'll let you see the snapshots I got.

Yummy sandwich!

I ordered Choco-caramel frappe while Mirahdal had Caramel frappe. Hers tastes better:)

Travel the world huh?

Bon jour Paris!

Isn't it the cutest tissue holder?:'>

Cutest toilet bowl I've ever seen so far! hehe

Can't help but to have at least one photo inside their lovely restroom.

Very cool restroom wall.

Cutie-patootie ♡-shaped curtain

I’m so happy to be with you, Mirahdal! Cafe Noriter is the cutest! ♡

You can't hurry love.

When you think about love, the next thing that comes into your mind is  your boyfriend(if you have one) or having a boyfriend(if you're single). Every girl dreams of meeting that someone who will sweep them off their feet and live a life like those in fairy tales. During my high school days, most of the girls in my batch and in the lower years  had boyfriends at an early age. I thought that I would be like them and every single day I thought of who among the sea of guys will capture my heart. Well, I have fallen in love with someone but I guess cupid wasn't successful in pairing us up.
Years passed, now I'm 19 and ample time from now I'll be leaving college and... I still don’t have a boyfriend. And you know what? I don’t feel bothered about it. I’m happy, I swear. Being single opens doors to possibilities and opportunities. You get to meet lots of people, realize things in your life, do the things you want, and simply enjoying everything life has to offer. Thinking about all these, I realized that I do have a love story; not with a guy but with myself. Being single made me a stronger person, paved the way for me to become closer to my family and friends, made me appreciate the things around me and helped me built a better, deeper relationship with God.  I got to know myself better and explore stuff beyond my comfort zone. All these things led me to loving myself which is the first thing that everyone has to learn before getting into a relationship. Treasure your family, friends, education, talents, hobbies, and other things you love because they're the ones that'll help you in your search for  joy in your life.  Falling in love and being in a relationship is not just a matter of loving and taking good care of each other but having someone to share your blessings, endeavors and happiness with.

When I got comments like: "Hey! You’re pretty. Why don’t you have a boyfriend?”, “You have a great personality! Why don’t you have a boyfriend?” , "You're already 19 why don't you have a boyfriend yet?"  or "Everyone in your group has their guy, mind finding one for yourself too?" I feel kinda irritated. If you’re pretty or have a great personality, it doesn’t mean you automatically have to have a boyfriend.  The reasons are far beyond looks and personality. Don't get me wrong, ladies I ain't declaring I'm pretty haha. I ain't pretty nor ugly. God just made me unique, gave me cute eyes(this is my blog, I care the least if you'll agree or what haha), really short legs, frizzy hair(I'm fine with it, got no choice but to love it anyway), puffy cheeks. I love myself, with it's flaws and all. Nobody's perfect anyway and I'm a living proof of it.
So going back, I don’t want to rush into things because I know there’s a right time for every single thing to happen. I believe that you need to wait for the right time and right person to come along. I want somebody to love me, for who I am, not for how I look or anything else. I want someone to respect me like how I respect others. I want someone to treat me how I deserve to be treated. I want someone who'll love me despite of my many flaws. Someone who is willing to bear all my craziness and weirdness. What I’m doing now is enjoying the present and not chasing after love. I will embrace the mystery of the future and will let love find its way to meet me at the right place and at the right time. I'm leaving everything to God. Lifting all my thoughts to Him. May all His will be done.
God bless, lovelies!

Living young, wild and free

After attending a school related seminar, my hipster(haha! for the term) friends, Tine, V, Shai, Kath, Jerome and I headed to Iggy's to spend a night on their place. Talked 'bout funny random things, played card games and had a mini "imno"sesh. Called it mini since we ended drinking pretty early. Everybody's sleepy already. Unfornately, I am the only one among our group who got tipsy. such a weakling -_-

That night’s been a good night.
It’s kinda cold out,
But the air is filled,
Filled with language.

Joyful Yuletide

Merry Christmas everyone! Hope everyone had an awesome Christmas eve:) I got a few photos that'll tell tell how we celebrated Christmas. Late afternoon on December 24, I attended the Christmas Eve service with my friend, Clarissa. I was so excited to hear Pastor Paolo's Christmas preaching since it's my first time to attend a Christian Christmas service. 'Though I've been attending Victory for over a year now, t'was only this year that I attended their Christmas Eve service. So there it was, the message was great and timely. It mainly centered on what's the true meaning of Christmas~the birth of our Saviour, Jesus Christ. We bumped into an old friend, Andrea whom we seldom see since she resides in Baguio now. Lovely encounter w/ her. Reminisced grade school mem'ries and talked a bit 'bout random stuffs. I got home around 9pm, everybody's preparing the food already. At 10 pm, my mother, Auntie and cousins went to church to hear the mass, I was left with my elder brother who's playing really yucky old songs. Well I can bear it naman, sanay na ako sa kanya hehe. At exactly 12 midnight, we ate together our Noche Buena, nothing beats that moment. Sitting on the the table with your whole family together, I'm really blessed. And I also gave my gifts to my really cute "pamangkins"  and they liked it:) Seeing the smiles on their faces was really priceless. We also did our exhange gift thingy after eating, I got Kuya Den as my Monito and he wanted a pair of Jersey shorsts and I gave it to him. Ate Lea's the one who got my name and I wished for a new compact foundation and hankies and she gave granted my wish:) At the height of our celebration, my cousin Ate Lhy went into our house and said that she has to bring baby Josh(her cute baby) to the hospital 'coz he's been crying and she suspects that something serious is behind his endless crying. I accompanied Ate Lhy and rushed baby Josh to the hospital. We stayed there for almost 4 hours and went home around 5am. My brothers' awake and still drinking and the elders(mama, lola and lolo) were up already or maybe they didn't sleep at all. 'Though an unexpected thing happened, we still had a Merry Christmas!

With Andrea and Clarissa @ Victory

Forget the diet, enjoy the feast

New face powder and 3 new hankies:))

Happy Birthday, Jesus! You're the reason for this season

"But when the time had fully come, God sent his Son, born of a woman, born under law, to redeem those under law, that we might receive the full rights of sons. Because you are sons, God sent the Spirit of his Son into our hearts,  the Spirit who calls out, "Abba, Father.""

I love Christmas:)

There's something about this Yuletide season that makes me feel giddy inside. Reunions, Christmas Party, re-connecting w/ old pals, shopping for presents, seeing the recipient's faces light up when they open the gift, and even receiving your own are some of the few things that make me oh-so blissful during the holidays.

Lovely things that are making me happy this season:

 Class Party:

Gifts I personally wrapped for friends and relatives:

Great fitting sweater from F21:

Fruits~ It's our family's tradition never to forget to buy lots of fruits during Christmas and New Year:) They're that healthy eaters:3 (apple and orange my top picks)

Hope everyone will have a MERRY MERRY CHRISTMAS! God bless us all!
